For many people, pearls are truly one of the most enduring and popular materials in many forms of jewelry and we completely agree. As a result, we use pearls in several of our
beaded necklaces, including our
beaded bracelets, and Sterling
silver earrings designs. They are both beautiful and popular. In addition to the other top quality materials in our custom jewelry designs like natural gemstone, Sterling silver, crystal
Swarovski jewelry beads, and more; Poshi Designs also offers a number of various jewelry designs featuring or including beautiful freshwater pearls or mother of pearl. We use the top grades of pearls rather than the average or “standard” grade of pearl that many others use.
Selecting top grades of pearls in our gemstone jewelry means that the
freshwater pearl jewelry is more uniform in color, pearl bead sizes, and in pearl luster. By selecting these grades for our Sterling silver jewelry designs, it further enhances the overall look, feel, and sheer quality of each Poshi designed beaded jewelry piece.
With a variety of pearl based jewelry designs to choose from, customers can choose models that are predominantly pearl based in design or choose other models that blend gemstones and silver while using the pearl as a white or ivory based neutral color that elegantly blend with our other natural materials. For those customers who may wonder, we do not currently use fine cultured (or saltwater) pearls in our jewelry designs. The main reason for this is to hold fast to one of our company philosophies, which is to design and build top quality hand crafted custom beaded jewelry using natural materials wherever possible, but to do so and offer our pieces at very affordable prices. If we elected to use cultured pearls (also beautiful as they are), the prices of our designs would have to be increased dramatically. That is why we have instead chosen to work with top grades of natural freshwater pearl and mother of pearl materials.
